PUBLIC NOTICE OF AN APPLICATION FOR A PREMISES LICENCE UNDER SECTION 17 OF THE LICENSING ACT 2003

Notice is hereby given that an application was made to LONDON BOROUGH OF NEWHAM COUNCIL for a premises licence under the above Act on the 13TH APRIL 2026.

Applicant: HOTEL CHOCOLAT STORES LTD Address of premises: HOTEL CHOCOLAT, UNIT SU0047, WESTFIELD STRATFORD CITY, MONTFICHET ROAD, LONDON, E20 1EJ.

Proposed licensable activities: THE SALE OF ALCOHOL FOR CONSUMPTION ON AND OFF THE PREMISES Proposed days and hours of licensable activity: MONDAY TO SATURDAY 08:00 TO 21:00 AND SUNDAY 10:00 TO 18:00.

Newham Council’s Licensing Register is kept at the office of the Licensing Team, East Ham Town Hall, Barking Road, East Ham, E6 2RP, (open 10am to 4pm Monday to Friday), 020 3373 1925, where details of the application may be inspected, any queries should be sent to licensing@newham.gov.uk Any representations against the application must be made in writing and received by the Licensing Team at the above address, by no later than the 11TH MAY 2026.

Individuals, businesses and other bodies may make representations in relation to the application. Representations must be relevant and can only be on the licensing objectives of the prevention of crime and disorder, public safety, the prevention of public nuisance, and the protection of children from harm. Copies of all representations will be sent to the applicant. Persons making representations will have to appear at the Councils’ Licensing Sub-Committee.

It is an offence to make a false statement in connection with an application and those who make a false statement may be liable on summary conviction to a fine of any amount.
