APPLICATION TO VARY PREMISES LICENCE

Notice is hereby given that Punch Taverns Limited has
applied to Sunderland City Council in respect of Cross
Keys, Spout Lane, Washington, NE38 7AB for an
application to vary the premises licence under the Licensing
Act 2003 to permit the following: This is an application to
vary the layout and design of the premises in accordance
with the submitted plan (drawing no 1543-L1). The changes
consists of forming new external covers in existing car park,
permitting use of a moveable external bar servery from
within this space (until 10pm on any day in operation), new
pergola with festoon lighting, new perimeter fencing with
entrance arbour and retractable awning to courtyard. To add
conditions relating to the operation of the external areas in
order to further promote the licensing objectives. A full list
of these proposed conditions can be viewed on the full
application held by the Licensing Authority and available
to view on request. All other permitted hours and activities
currently permitted by the premises are to remain

inspected by appointment during the hours Monday to
Thursday 8.30 — 5.15 and Friday 8.30 — 4.45 at the
Customer Services Centre, City Hall. Representations
regarding the application must be made in writing to the
