Take notice that on 24.03.2026. I Peter Kirk of Towthorpe Ltd made application to the City of York Council for the grant of a Premises Licence at the following premises Manor Farm, Towthorpe, York, YO32 9SP
The Licensing Application Register can be viewed by prior arrangement with City of York Council Licensing Team (Tel: 01904 552422) at Hazel Court, EcoDepot, James Street, York, YO10 3DS between 8.30am and 5.00pm Monday to Friday. Representations to this application can be made in writing by a responsible authority or any other person to City of York Council Licensing Team, Hazel Court, EcoDepot, James Street, York, YO10 3DS, or by email to licensing@york.gov.uk. Representations must be received by no later than 21.04.2026 being within a 28 day period beginning the first day after the application is made. Proposed licensable activities and their timings are as follows: Sale by retail of alcohol off premises 09:00 - 17:00, Monday to Sunday. The vineyard will supply wine orders via a courier service to customers who have bought wine online. Sale by retail of alcohol on premises will be 11:00 - 16:00, Fridays and Saturdays only. The vineyard will serve wine to customers, as part of a pre-booked vineyard tour, booked through the website.
It is an offence knowingly or recklessly to make a false statement in connection with an application for the grant of a premises licence or club premises certificate. A person guilty of such an offence is liable to an unlimited fine.
