notice that an application was made to Wealden
District Council on the 27th March 2026 for the
Grant of a New Premises Licence to operate a
premises at: Sip and Swirl Wine Bar Ground Floor
38 Vicarage Field Hailsham East Sussex BN27
1BE from which the following licensable activities
are proposed. The Sale of Alcohol by Retail for
consumption on and off the premises from 10:00 to
00:00 Monday to Sunday, Regulated Entertainment
by way of live and recorded music from 23:00 to
00:00 Monday to Sunday, and Late Night
Refreshment from 23:00 to 00:00 Monday to
Sunday.
Details of the application may be inspected, free of
charge, at Licensing Town Hall Bexhill-on-Sea
TN39 3JX or on- line at
Any interested party or Responsible Authority may
make representations to the Licensing Section in
writing within 28 Consecutive Days of the day of
application was made as detailed above. The last
day for representations being the 24/04/2026.
It is an offence to knowingly or recklessly make a
false statement in connection with an application
and a person may be liable on summary conviction
of an unlimited fine.
