NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR VARIATION OF A PREMISES LICENCE
Premises: Hendon Discount Store, 53-55 Villette Road, Sunderland, SR2 8RD
Notice is given that Vitesh UK Ltd has applied to Sunderland City Council to vary a Premises Licence under the Licensing Act 2003.
The proposed variation(s) to the Premises Licence are:
To amend the opening hours of the premises to 06:00 to 23:00 every day.
To amend the sale by retail of alcohol hours to 06:00 to 23:00 every day.
To remove seasonal variations to these hours.
The licensing register of Sunderland City Council is kept at: Sunderland City Council, Licensing Section, City Hall, Plater Way, Sunderland, SR1 3AA.
A record of the application may be inspected by appointment during the hours Monday to Thursday 8.30 – 5.15 and Friday 8.30 – 4.45 at the Customer Services Centre, City Hall.
Representations regarding the application must be made in writing to the Council or by emailing
no later than 21st April 2026.
It is an offence to knowingly or recklessly make a false statement in connection with an application and the maximum fine for which a person is liable on summary conviction for the offence is unlimited.
