Notice of application for a variation
of a Premises Licence

Notice is hereby given that We, Hickory’s (ROS) Limited
have applied to Peterborough City Council on 24th March
2026 for a variation to a premises licence to use the
premises at: Hickory’s Smokehouse (fka Mulberry Tree
Farm), 2 Kempley Close, Hampton, Peterborough, PE7
8QH. The application is to vary the: Licensing layout plan
for conversion of existing trade area to a Hickory’s
Smokehouse. Hours for Sale by Retail of Alcohol from
09:00hrs daily. To add the exhibition of films: 09:00hrs to
00:30hrs daily with Non-standard timings: When hours for
sale of alcohol are extended hereunder these hours are also
extended (To permit the sale of alcohol and such regulated
entertainment as authorised hereunder until 00.30 (if not
otherwise granted pursuant to this application) on Friday,
Saturday, Sunday and Monday at bank holiday weekends,
Christmas Eve, Boxing Day, New Years Day and national
Saints days and on New Year's Eve 09:00 to New Year's
Day terminal hour proposed 00:30 (2nd January). To
remove Annex 2 Condition 27 - Children under the age of
16 shall not be permitted to enter the premises after
21:00hrs unless dining with an adult or attending a
prebooked function or resident in any adjacent hotel.
Replace with - Children under the age of 16 will be required
to be supervised by the accompanying adult at all times,
unless within the designated children’s zones. Any part of
the variation application that changes the plan/layout at the
premises to be of no effect until the work has been
completed. Any person who wishes to make a
representation in relation to this application must give
notice in writing of their representation by 21st April 2026
stating the grounds for making said representation to:

The Licensing Authority must receive representations by
the date given above. The Licensing Authority will have
regard to any such representation in considering the
application. It is an offence, under section 158 of the
Licensing Act 2003, to knowingly or recklessly make a
false statement in or in connection with an application for
premises licence and the maximum fine on summary
conviction is unlimited.
