High Street, Wilburton - Application to Vary a Premises Licence

What is proposed?

LICENSING ACT 2003

Notice is hereby given that Wilburton Flame Limited has on 18th March 2026 applied to East Cambridgeshire District Council for the grant of a premises licence variation for Wilburton Flame Bar & Restaurant and Wilburton Community Hub Retail Store, 45 High Street, Wilburton, Ely, CB6 3RA.

The variation proposes that:

The premises plan will cover all outside areas plus the Community Retail Store

Alcohol sales timing and opening hours will be from 07:00 hours daily

The Community Retail Store licensing and opening hours will be from 07:00 to 19:00 daily

Recorded music will be for the daily duration of the alcohol licensing hours and (outdoors) from 12:00 to 23:00 daily

Live music (indoors) will be from 12:00 to 23:00 daily and 12:00 to 00:00 for public holidays and live music (outdoors) from 12:00 to 23:00

Late night refreshment (indoors) will be for the duration of the premises alcohol licensing hours

Entertainment of a similar description to be deleted from the premises activities

The premises licence operating schedule conditions to be updated in view of the above proposals

Any person wishing to make representations to this application may do so by submitting a completed representation form to Environmental Services Licensing Section, The Grange, Nutholt Lane, Ely, Cambridgeshire CB7 4EE by 15th April 2026.

A copy of the form to make representations on can be downloaded from the Council’s website www.eastcambs.gov.uk or by telephoning 01353 665555. The application can be viewed, by appointment, at the Council Offices during normal office hours (Monday to Thursday 08:45 to 17:00 and Friday 08:45 to 16:30).

It is an offence knowingly or recklessly to make a false statement in connection with an application. The maximum fine for which a person is liable on summary conviction is a Level 5 fine on the standard scale.
