What is proposed?

LICENSING ACT 2003

Application has been made by Waitrose Limited to the Licensing Authority of Brighton & Hove City Council to vary the Premises Licence for Waitrose, Nevill Road, Hove BN3 7BZ. The application is to vary the hours for the sale of alcohol for consumption off the premises to 24 hours a day every day, which primarily will facilitate online ordering. Any person who desires to make a representation should send to EHL.licensing@brighton-hove.gov.uk or Regulatory Services Manager, Regulatory Services, Environmental Health and Licensing, Hove Town Hall, Norton Road, Hove, BN3 3BQ no later than 15 April 2026. The register and records of applications may be viewed at the above council office during normal office hours; summaries are available via www.brighton-hove.gov.uk/licensing

It is an offence for anyone knowingly or recklessly to make a false statement in connection with a Licence Application. The maximum fine on summary conviction is unlimited.
