What is proposed?

LICENSING ACT 2003

Application has been made by Waitrose Limited to the
Licensing Authority of Central Bedfordshire Council
(formerly mid beds) to vary the Premises Licence for
the Waitrose, 25 Bedford Street, Ampthill, Bedford,
MK45 2LU. The application is to vary the hours for the
sale of alcohol for consumption off the premises to 24
hours a day every day, which primarily will facilitate
online ordering. Persons wishing to make representations
in respect of this application may do so by emailing

licensing@centralbedfordshire.gov.uk

no later than 16
April 2026. A copy of the application is also held by
Central Bedfordshire Council, Licensing Team and may be
viewed upon request. It is an offence for anyone knowingly
or recklessly to make a false statement in connection with
a Licence Application. The maximum fine on summary
conviction is unlimited.
