Premises: Houghton Rugby Football Club, Dairy Lane, Houghton-Le-Spring DH4 5BH
Notice is given that Houghton Rugby Football Club has applied to Sunderland City Council to vary a Club Premises Certificate under the
Licensing Act 2003.
The proposed variation(s) to the Club Premises Certificate are: The club seeks to vary its permitted hours for the supply of alcohol and playing of recorded music to provide greater flexibility for its members.
The licensing register of Sunderland City Council is kept at: Sunderland City Council, Licensing Section, City Hall, Plater Way, Sunderland, SR1 3AA.
A record of the application may be inspected by appointment during the hours Monday to Thursday 8.30 – 5.15 and Friday 8.30 – 4.45 at
the Customer Services Centre, City Hall.
Representations regarding the application must be made in writing to the Council or by emailing
no later than
3rd April 2026.
