Notice of application for the grant of a Premises
Licence under Section 17 of the Licensing Act 2003
Notice is hereby given that Majestic Wine Warehouses Ltd
has applied to Lewes District Council (on the 4th March
2026) for the grant of a Premises Licence in respect of
Premises to be known as Majestic Wine Warehouse
(temporary pop-up/portacabin), Unit 2 Delanair Estate,
Brooks Road, Lewes, BN7 2BY. The proposed licensable
activities and their hours are: 1. Sale/Supply of alcohol (off
the premises only) and opening hours 08:00 – 23:00
Monday to Sunday for a temporary pop-up/portacabin on
the current site in the car park. See application for full
details. Any representations regarding the above-mentioned
application must be received in writing by Licensing Team,
Lewes District Council, 6 High Street, Lewes, BN7 2AD
or by email
licensing@lewes-eastbourne.gov.uk
no later
than 1st April 2026 stating the grounds for representation.
The register of Lewes District Council and the record of the
application may be inspected at the address of the council,
given above, during normal business hours by appointment
or on the council’s website -
It is an offence knowingly or recklessly to make a false
statement in connection with an application. A person is
liable to an unlimited fine on conviction should such a false
statement be made.
