Notice of Application to Vary a Premises Licence
TO ALL WHOM IT MAY CONCERN
Take notice that JD Wetherspoon Plc has made an application under Section 34 of the Licensing Act 2003 to vary a premises licence for William Henry, 1 Frederick Place, St Thomas Street, Weymouth, Dorset, DT4 8HQ. The application seeks to vary the Premises Licence as follows:-
Sale of Alcohol: Thursday to Saturday 0900 to 0200;
Late Night Refreshment: Thursday to Saturday 0900 to 0200.
Opening: Thursday to Saturday 0700 to 0230.
All Licensable Activities: Thursday to Saturday 0900 to 0200. Sunday to Wednesday hours remain unchanged
The application also seeks to vary the wording of condition (11) in Annex 2 of the Premises Licence to now read as follows:- (11) Persons under the age of 18 shall not be permitted to enter the premises after 23:00.
The postal address of the relevant licensing authority is set out below and a record of the application may be inspected there during normal office hours or at www.dorset.gov.uk at any time. A person who wishes to make representations regarding this application must give notice in writing to the Licensing Section, Dorset Council, County Hall, Colliton Park, Dorchester, Dorset, DT1 1XJ. Written representations must be received no later than 5th March 2026. It is an offence, under section 158 of the Licensing Act 2003, to knowingly or recklessly to make a false statement in connection with an application which, upon conviction, carries an unlimited fine.
