TRANSFER OF A LICENCE

TAKE NOTICE that Nevarc Limited (Company Number NI735757) having its registered office at 6a Sturgan Raod, Camlough, Newry, County Down, BT35 7HS, intends at the Magistrates’ Court sitting at Newry Courthouse, 23 New Street, Newry, County Down BT35 6JD on the 4th day of March 2026 at 10.30am to apply for the transfer to the company of a licence at present held by Meeko Entertainment Limited (Company Number NI654691) having its registered office at 2 Upper Water Street, Newry, County Down, BT34 1DJ, for the premises at 2 Water Street & 5-7 Margaret Street, Newry, County Down, being premises of the following kind according to the Licensing (Northern Ireland) Order 1996 namely premises specified in Article 5(1)(a), namely premises in which the business carried on under the licence is the business of selling intoxicating liquor by retail for consumption on or off the premises.
The applicant is a body corporate which owns the business to be carried on under the licence of which Cailam Michael Craven c/o 1 Downshire Road, Newry, County Down, BT34 1ED is the sole director and the executive controller of the company.
The owner of the premises is Cardona Limited (Company Number NI028733) having its registered office at 67-69 Hill Street, Newry, County Down, BT34 1DG.
The licence will be deposited with the Clerk of the Petty Sessions before or at the hearing of the application.

TAKE NOTICE that any person owning, or residing or carrying on business in, premises in the vicinity of the premises for which the licence is sought who intends to object to the transfer of the licence must, in accordance with Paragraph 4 of Schedule 5 to the Licensing (Northern Ireland) Order 1996, serve notice of his intention to object upon the applicant and the Clerk of Petty Sessions not less than one week before the date of the court hearing AND FURTHER TAKE NOTICE that the permissible grounds of objection are such as are specified in Article 22(6) of the Licensing (Northern Ireland) Order 1996 namely the unfitness of the applicant and that the business carried on in the premises under the Licence has not been discontinued.
