NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR THE VARIATION OF A PREMISES LICENCE

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that an application has been made to the licensing authority of Portsmouth City Council for the variation of a premises licence at:
Sunflower Chinese Restaurant LTD, Yookee's, 222-224 Commercial Road, Portsmouth, PO1 1HG
The proposed variation is as follows:
To extend the opening hours of the premises to 06:00 daily (current hours: 11:00 – 23:00).
To extend the permitted hours for the provision of late night refreshment (the supply of hot food and/or hot drinks for consumption on or off the premises) to
23:00 – 06:00 daily.
To extend the hours for the sale by retail of alcohol (for consumption on the premises) to 02:00 daily (current hours: 11:00 – 23:00).
To include the playing of recorded music (as a licensable activity) from 11:00 until 06:00 daily.
To include the performance of live music (as a licensable activity) from 12:00 until 06:00 daily.
The register of applications and record of the application may be inspected during normal office hours at: Licensing Section, Portsmouth City Council, Civic Offices, Guildhall Square, Portsmouth PO1 2AB Or electronically via the council's website:

Representations regarding the application must be made in writing to the Licensing Authority at the above address or by email to

licensing@portsmouthcc.gov.uk,

giving reasons, within the period of 28 days beginning with the day after the day on which the application was given to the authority (i.e., by [insert date 28 days after submission]).

It is an offence knowingly or recklessly to make a false statement in connection with an application; the maximum fine for which a person is liable on summary conviction is an unlimited fine.
