Notice of application for a Premises Licence under
Section 17
Notice is hereby given that on the 22nd January 2026, Ei
Group Limited applied to Sheffield Council for a Premises
Licence in respect of premises Yates, 2-6 Cambridge Street,
Sheffield, S1 4HP. The proposed licensable activities are ;-
1. To permit the sale of alcohol, live music, performance of
dance and similar entertainment, indoor sporting events and
recorded music Monday to Sunday 08.00 to 03.00. 2. To
permit films Monday to Sunday 07.00 to 03.00. 3. To
permit late night refreshment Monday to Sunday 23.00 to
03.00. 4. Add non standard timings as follows: an
Additional Hour to the standard on the day when British
Summertime commences. An Additional Hour to the
Terminal Hour on the Following Days: St George’s Day, St
David’s Day, St Patrick’s Day, St Andrew’s Day, Burns
Night, Valentines Night, Halloween, On all Bank Holidays
and the Friday, Saturday and Sunday preceding all Bank
Holidays, Maundy Thursday, Christmas Eve, Christmas
Day, Boxing Day 27th, 28th, 29th and 30th December,
Bonfire Night and New Years Day. From the end of
permitted hours on New Years Eve to the start of permitted
hours on New Years Day. 5. Please note this application is
in identical terms to the existing trading licence. Any
representations by a responsible authority or any other
person regarding this application must be received in
writing by;- The Licensing Team, Sheffield Council, Block
C, Staniforth Road Depot, Sheffield S9 3HD (email
licensingservice@sheffield.gov.uk)
no later than the 19th
February 2026 stating the grounds for representations. The
register of Sheffield Council and the record of the
application may be inspected during normal office hours at
the above address.
It is an offence knowingly or recklessly to make a false
statement in connection with an application. The fine for
which a person is liable on summary conviction for the
offence is unlimited.
