What is proposed?
Notice of application for a Premises Licence
Notice is hereby given that an application has been made by Deborah Pook in respect of premises known as The Cross located at 107-109 High Cross Street, Leicester, LE1 4PH to Leicester City Council on 22 January 2026 for a premises licence. The proposed application is:
1. To permit the supply of alcohol and provision of regulated entertainment from 07:00 to 00:00 on Sundays to Wednesdays and 07:00 to 01:00 on Thursdays to Saturdays.
2. The provision of late night refreshment from 23:00 to 00:00 on Sundays to Wednesdays and from 23:00 to 01:00 on Thursdays to Saturdays.
3. To provide licensable activities on specific occasions. Full details of the application are contained within the application form held by the licensing authority at Leicester City Council, Customer Services Centre, 91 Granby Street, Leicester, LE1 6FB where the licensing register can be inspected during the authority’s normal opening hours or at www.leicester.gov.uk/licensing.
Any representations by a responsible authority or other person regarding the above-mentioned application must be made in writing to the licensing authority at the above address or to licensing@leicester.gov.uk no later than 19 February 2026, stating the grounds upon which the representation is being made.
It is an offence to knowingly or recklessly make a false statement in connection with an application. The maximum financial penalty on summary conviction is unlimited.
