Licensing Act 2003: Application for new
Premises Licence

Notice is hereby given that WH Smith Travel Holdings
Limited has applied in respect of WH Smith (previously
Urban Express) M1 Motorway J45, Skelton Lake, Leeds,
LS9 0AS for the grant of a new premises licence under the
Licensing Act 2003 to permit the following: Opening Hours
- 24 hrs a day. Sale of Alcohol (off sales only) - Monday –
Sunday 0700 – 2300. Late Night Refreshment (Indoors) -
Monday – Sunday 23:00 – 05:00. For a full list of proposed

Representations to this application must be made in writing,
by the end of 18 February 2026, to the Leeds City Council
Licensing Authority at Civic Hall, Leeds, LS1 1UR or via
email to

entertainment.licensing@leeds.gov.uk

It is an offence to knowingly or recklessly make a false
statement in connection with this application. Persons will
be liable on summary conviction to an unlimited fine.
