Notice is hereby given that Richard Bassett has applied to Wakefield Council for a Premises Licence in respect of Alverthorpe Working Men’s Club, 111 Flanshaw Lane, Wakefield WF2 9JG. Proposed opening hours to the public: Monday–Thursday 12:00–11:00, Friday 12.00–11:00, Saturday 12:00–11:00, Sunday 12:00-11:00. A record of the application may be inspected at the Licensing Department, Wakefield Council, Wakefield One, PO Box 700, Burton Street, Wakefield WF1 2EB during normal office hours, or via the online licensing register at

https://www.wakefield.gov.uk.

Any representations must be made in writing to the above address, or via the Council’s online licensing portal, by 6th February 2026. It is an offence knowingly or recklessly to make a false statement in connection with an application; a person guilty of such an offence is liable on summary conviction to a fine of any amount.
