Public Notice of application for variation of a
Premises Licence

Application has today been made to the council for the
above licence by Ei Group Limited. Address of Premises:
Star Inn, Batley Road, Kirkhamgate, Wakefield, West
Yorkshire, WF2 0RZ. Last Date for Representations 4th
February 2026 (This notice must be displayed following the
day after the application was submitted to the Council for
a period of 28 days on or near the premises in a position
where it can easily be read by the public). Reason for
Variation: 1. Update the licensing plan to reflect the external
bar which will be licensed for sale of alcohol. 2. Add
condtions to the premises licence. 3. Remove conditions 9
and 10 from the premises licence. Representations should
be made in writing no later than the above date to Wakefield
Council, Licensing Department, Wakefield One, PO Box
700, Burton Street, Wakefield, WF1 2EB. Email

Persons
wishing to inspect the application may do so between the
hours of 10.00 – 15.00 Monday to Friday
It is an offence to knowingly or recklessly make a false
statement in connection with an application which carries
an unlimited fine.
