Name of Applicant: Jagjeet Bains. Name and Address of
Premises: 1 Wharf Lane, Staveley, Chesterfield. S43 3TZ
has applied to Chesterfield Borough Council for a Premises
Licence in respect of the premises. The relevant licensable
activities which it is proposed will be carried on on or from
the premises are: To permit the sale of alcohol (off sales
only) 07:00 to 22:00 hours Monday to Sunday. A copy of
the application may be inspected at the Licensing Counter,

Any interested party or responsible authority who wishes
to make representations to Chesterfield Borough Council
must do so no later than 4th February 2026 and such
representations must be made in writing and addressed to
The Licensing Section, Town Hall, Rose Hill, Chesterfield
S40 1LP.
It is an offence knowingly or recklessly to make a false
statement in connection with an application and the
maximum fine for which a person is liable on summary
conviction for the offence is unlimited.
