What is proposed?

Notice of Application to Vary a Premises Licence
under Section 34 of the Licensing Act 2003

Notice is hereby given that Park Holidays UK Ltd in respect
of Premises known as Pevensey Bay Holiday Park,
Eastbourne Road, Pevensey Bay, Pevensey, BN24 6DH
applied to Wealden District Council for a Variation of a
Premises Licence. The proposed variation is to approve
alterations at the premises to include removal of walls and
fixed furniture to open up the Entertainment Area and
Arcade; creating a new Reception and extending the current
licensed external outside seating area, such alterations to
take effect upon the completion of works as notified to the
Licensing Authority in writing. Also to amend the sale of
alcohol to be permitted both on and off the premises and to
remove Annex 2 condition 2 to allow for off sales to
caravans and holiday homes on the park. There are no
changes to the other existing licensable activities, hours and

conditions. Any representations regarding the above-
mentioned application must be received in writing by, email

to

licensing@rother.gov.uk

or by post to Licensing Officer,
Wealden District Council, Vicarage Lane, Hailsham,
BN27 2AX no later than 2nd February 2026 stating the
grounds for representation. The register of Wealden District
Council and the record of the application may be inspected
at the address of the council, given above, during
normal business hours or on the council’s website –

It is an offence knowingly or recklessly to make a false
statement in connection with an application. A person is
liable to an unlimited fine on conviction should such a false
statement be made.
