What is proposed?

Notice of Application to Vary a Premises Licence under Section 34 of the Licensing Act 2003

Notice is hereby given that Buzz Holdings Limited in respect of Premises known as Buzz Bingo, Gallagher Retail Park, Marchfields Way, Weston Super Mare, BS23 3YY applied to North Somerset District Council for a Variation of a Premises Licence. The proposed variation is to approve internal alterations at the premises to include the change of a wall inside the main entrance to the premises to allow for a New Members, Reception and Booksales desk and removal of doorway to open up the slots area within the premises; removal of some fixed seating to allow for the larger slots area; new fixed seating added around the wall areas within the slots area and general reconfiguration. Such alterations to take effect upon the completion of works as notified to the Licensing Authority in writing. There are no changes to the existing licensable activities, hours and conditions.

Any representations regarding the above-mentioned application must be received in writing by, email to licensing@n-somerset.gov.uk or by post to Licensing Team, North Somerset Council, Town Hall, Walliscote Grove Road, Weston-super-Mare, Somerset, BS23 1UJ no later than 2nd February 2026 stating the grounds for representation. The register of North Somerset District Council and the record of the application may be inspected at the address of the council, given above, during normal business hours or on the council’s website – https://n-somerset.gov.uk/business/licences-permits/register-applications-received.

It is an offence knowingly or recklessly to make a false statement in connection with an application. A person is liable to an unlimited fine on conviction should such a false statement be made.
