APPLICATION FOR NEW PREMISES LICENCE

Notice is hereby given that Clokken Limited has applied in respect of KFC Taunton, 59 East Street, Taunton, Somerset, TA1 3LX for the grant of a new premises licence under the Licensing Act 2003 to permit the following:

Opening Hours: 09:30 to 05:00 the following morning every day of the week. After 00:00 on any day of the week the premises will operate a delivery service only. No customers will be permitted in the premises after midnight. Late Night Refreshment: 23:00 to 00:00 – Sunday through Saturday for customers collecting or dining in (restaurant); 23:00 to 05:00 – Sunday through Saturday (the morning following) for delivery collection.

Any person wishing to make a representation in relation to this application must do so in writing to by 20 January 2026 and send it to; Somerset Council, Licensing, Bridgwater House, King Square, Bridgwater, TA6 3AR.

Representations may be made for 28 consecutive days from the date of this notice. A copy of the application for the grant of the above licence is available on our website:

Alternatively, a copy is kept by; The Licensing Unit, Somerset Council, Bridgwater House, King Square, Bridgwater, TA6 3AR. The application can be viewed Monday to Thursday, 9am to 5pm and Friday 9am to 4.30pm. Not including bank holidays.

It is an offence to knowingly or recklessly make a false statement in connection with this application. Persons will be liable on summary conviction to an unlimited fine.
