What is proposed?

Notice of application for the grant of a Premises
Licence under Section 17 of the Licensing Act 2003

Notice is hereby given that DNAYork Limited has applied
to Leeds City Council for the grant of a Premises Licence
in respect of premises to be known as Cut & Craft, 17 – 23
King Edward Street, Leeds, LS1 6AX. The proposed
licensable activities and their hours are: 1. Plays, Films,
Live music, Recorded music, Performances of Dance,
activities of a similar description to Live or Recorded Music
or Performances of Dance (all indoors) from 09:00 until
23:00 Sunday to Thursday and from 09:00 until 01:00 the
following day on Friday and Saturday; 2. Late Night
Refreshment (indoors) from 23:00 until 23:30 Sunday to
Thursday and from 23:00 until 01:30 the following day on
Friday and Saturday; 3. The sale of alcohol (on and off the
premises) from 09:00 until 23:00 Sunday to Thursday and
from 09:00 until 01:00 the following day on Friday and
Saturday; 4. Opening hours of the premises from 09:00 until
23:30 Sunday to Thursday and from 09:00 until 01:30 the
following day on Friday and Saturday; and 5. Additional
non-standard timings for all activities when British
Summertime commences (where relevant) and on New
Year’s Eve. Full details can be viewed upon the application
form lodged with the Licensing Authority. Any
representations regarding the above-mentioned application
must be received in writing by Entertainment Licensing,
Leeds City Council, Civic Hall, Leeds, LS1 1UR or by

21 January 2026 stating the grounds for representation. The
licensing register of Leeds City Council and the record of
the above application may be inspected at the address of the
council, given above, during normal business hours or on
the council’s website –

It is an offence to knowingly or recklessly make a false
statement in connection with an application. A person is
liable to an unlimited fine on conviction should a false
statement be made.
