What is proposed?

Public Notice of an Application for a Premises Licence Under Section 17 0f The Licensing Act 2003

Notice is hereby given that an application was made to the
Portsmouth City Council for a premises licence under the
above Act on 18th December 2025 and will commence its
consultation on the 19th December 2025. Applicant: Sentha
Retail Limited. Address of premises: Kev Albert Road
Community Store, 235-237 Albert Road, Southsea,
Portsmouth, PO4 0JR. Proposed licensable activities: Sale
of alcohol for consumption off the premises. Provision of
late night refreshment (LNR). Proposed days and hours of
licensable activity: Mon to Sun. Consumption alcohol off
the premises - 07.00 TO 01.00 hrs the following morning.
LNR 23.00 to 01.00 hrs the following morning. The postal
address of the Licensing Authority where the register is kept
and the application may be inspected is: *Licensing
Service, Portsmouth City Council, Civic Offices, Guildhall
Square, Portsmouth, PO1 2AL. Any person wishing to
make representations on this matter shall give notice, in
writing, stating the nature and grounds for making such
representations to The Licensing Officer at the above
address* within 28 days of the date of this notice – by the

It is an offence, under section 158 of the Licensing Act
2003, to knowingly or recklessly make a false statement in
or in connection with an application and the offence is
punishable on summary conviction on or after that day by
a fine of any amount.
