What is proposed?

LICENSING ACT 2003

Application has been made by Marston's PLC to the
Licensing Authority of Wigan Council to vary the Premises
Licence for the Poacher at 71 Holmes House Avenue,
Winstanley, Wigan, WN3 6JA. The application includes the
following terms:- 1. Variation to change the internal and
external layout of the premises as per the drawing deposited
with the Licensing Authority. 2. To permit sale of alcohol,
regulated entertainment (live and recorded music, films)
externally between 10:00 and 23:00 hours Sunday to
Thursday and 10:00 to 00:00 hours on Friday and Saturday.
3. To delete Annexe 2 condition regarding speakers. Full
details of the Application and the drawing can be viewed at
the offices of the Licensing Authority at Wigan Council,
Trading Standards & Licensing Section, (Licensing Team)
Places Directorate, PO Box 100, Wigan, Greater
Manchester, WN1 3DS. A responsible authority or any
other person can make written representations to the
Licensing Authority at any time up to and including 9th
January 2026 (

It is an offence for anyone knowingly or recklessly to make
a false statement in connection with a Licence Application.
The maximum fine on summary conviction is unlimited.
