APPLICATION FOR A PREMISES LICENCE

(Section 17)

Notice is hereby given that B & M Retail Limited has
applied to Durham County Council on 11 December 2025
for the grant of a Premises Licence in respect of B&M
Store, (Former Poundland), Unit 4, Byron Place Shopping
Centre, Seaham SR7 7DR to allow off sales of alcohol and
opening hours from 07:00 to 23:00 7 days a week. A record
of this application may be inspected at the Council’s offices
at Annand House, John Street North, Meadowfield, Durham
DH7 8RS by appointment, on weekdays between 9.30 am
and 4.30 pm. Any representations about this application
must be made in writing by the 8 January 2026 and sent to:-

It is an offence knowingly or recklessly to make a false
statement in connection with an application and the
maximum fine for which a person is liable on summary
conviction for the offence is unlimited.
