What is proposed?
NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR VARIATION OF A PREMISES LICENCE
Notice is hereby given that Star Pubs Trading Limited has applied for a variation of a Premises Licence in respect of premises known as the Whitakers Arms, 322 Burnley Road, Accrington, Lancashire BB5 6HG
The variation proposed is as follows:-
To permit the sale of alcohol from 09.00 Monday to Sunday.
Existing terminal hour will remain unchanged.
A copy of the Application can be inspected at the offices of Hyndburn Borough Council Licensing Authority, Hyndburn Borough Council Scaitcliffe House, Ormerod Street Accrington Accrington BB5 0PF www.hyndburn.gov.uk during normal office hours.
This application was lodged with Hyndburn Borough Council Licensing Authority on 4th December 2025 and any representations must be made in writing to Hyndburn Borough Council Licensing Authority at the above address no later than 1st January 2026.
It is an offence under Section 158 of the Licensing Act 2003 to make a false statement in or in connection with this application. Those who make a false statement may be liable on summary conviction to a fine of any amount.
