We Sussex Past do hereby serve notice on 25.11.2025 that it is our intention to apply to Lewes District Council for the grant of a new premises licence certificate to use or permit the use of premises known as Lewes Castle & Barbican House Museum, 169 High Street, Lewes, BN7 1YE for the following licensable activities Supply of Alcohol – 10.00-17.00 Monday – Sunday
Any person who desires to make a representation to the grant should send a brief written statement of the grounds of his/her objection to

licensing@lewes-eastbourne.gov.uk

or Licensing Team Lewes 6 High Street Lewes, East Sussex, BN7 2AD no later than midnight on 24.12.2025.
The register and records of applications may be viewed at the above council office during normal office hours; summaries are available via

www.lewes-eastbourne.gov.uk.



It is an offence knowingly or recklessly to make a false statement in connection with an application, the maximum penalty for which a person is liable on summary conviction is an unlimited fine.
