GRANT OF A PREMISES LICENCE
THE LICENSING ACT 2003

Notice is hereby given that We, Tesco Stores
Limited have applied to Durham County Council in
respect of the premises known as: Former The

Station Hotel, Morton Crescent, Houghton-Le-
Spring, Fencehouses, DH4 6AD for the grant of a

Premises Licence to permit the following licensable
activities:-. The provision of late-night refreshment
(indoors) on the following days: Monday-Sunday,
23:00-00:00. The sale by retail of alcohol for
consumption off the premises on the following
days: Monday-Sunday, 06:00-00:00.
A record of this application may be inspected at the
Council’s offices at Annand House, John Street
North, Meadowfield, Durham. DH7 8RS by
appointment, on weekdays between 9.30 am and
4.30 pm. Any representations about this application
must be made in writing by 01/01/2026 and sent
to:- Durham County Council, Licensing Services,
PO Box 274, Stanley, DH8 1HG alternatively

It is an offence knowingly or recklessly to make a
false statement in connection with an application
and the maximum fine for which a person is liable
on summary conviction for the offence is unlimited.
