What is proposed?

PUBLIC NOTICE LICENSING ACT 2003 - NEW APPLICATION FOR A PREMISES LICENCE

Notice is hereby given that an application has been made to Amber Valley Borough Council for a Premises Licence in respect of the premises: (Ground Floor) The Mews, 7 Church Street, Ripley, Derbyshire, DE5 3BU

The application is for the following licensed activities:

Sale of alcohol for consumption on and off the premises Provision of live music and recorded music

The proposed licensed hours are: From 1st February 2026 onwards:
Monday to Sunday: 09:00am to 01:00am

The full application can be inspected at the Licensing Section, Amber Valley Borough Council.

Any responsible authority or other person may make a representation in writing to the Licensing Authority within 28 consecutive days of the date of this notice. Representations received after 6th January 2026 cannot be considered.

It is an offence under section 158 of the Licensing Act 2003 to knowingly or recklessly make a false statement in connection with this application. A person guilty of such an offence is liable on summary conviction to a fine.
