What is proposed?

Notice of application to vary a Premises Licence under Section 34 of the Licensing Act 2003

Notice is hereby given that Red Oak Taverns Limited in respect of Premises known as Bulls Head, Tamworth Road, Polesworth, Staffordshire, B78 1JH applied to North Warwickshire Borough Council for a Variation of a Premises Licence.

The proposed variation is to vary the hours for sale of alcohol and opening hours to start at 0800 Monday to Sunday with the terminal hour to remain as existing; also to add Films Monday to Thursday 0800 to Midnight, Friday and Saturday 0800 to 0100 the following morning and Sunday 0800 to 2330; add Indoor Sporting Monday to Thursday 1100 to Midnight, Friday and Saturday 1100 to 0100 the following morning and Sunday 1200 to 2330; add Late Night Refreshment Monday to Thursday 2300 to Midnight, Friday and Saturday 2300 to 0100 the following morning and Sunday 2300 to 2330; to remove the restriction of hours on Christmas Day, currently listed under conditions. Also to add CCTV and Challenge 25 conditions. All other conditions to remain as existing.

Any representations regarding the above-mentioned application must be received in writing by email to licensing@northwarks.gov.uk or by post to North Warwickshire Borough Council Licensing Department, The Council House, South Street, Atherstone, Warwickshire, CV9 1DE no later than 24th December 2025 stating the grounds for representation.

The register of North Warwickshire Borough Council and the record of the application may be inspected at the address of the council, given above between the hours of 8am and 4pm Monday to Friday by contacting the Licensing Team.

It is an offence knowingly or recklessly to make a false statement in connection with an application. A person is liable to an unlimited fine on conviction should such a false statement be made.
