Notice of application for the Grant of a Premises Licence under Section 17 of the Licensing Act 2003
Notice is hereby given that We Coniston Institute and Ruskin Museum have applied to Westmorland & Furness Council for the grant of a Premises Licence in respect of premises to be known as The field to the north of Lower Lake Road, Coniston, Cumbria
The proposed licensable activities are: Live and recorded music Sale of alcohol Between the hours of 17:00 and 22:30 on Friday and Saturday 15th and 16th May and 17:00 and 22:00 on Sunday 17th May 2026
Any representations regarding the above mentioned application must be received in writing by Licensing Team Westmorland & Furness Council, South Lakeland House, Lowther Street, Kendal, Cumbria, LA9 4DQ or e-mail licensing@westmorlandandfurness.gov.uk no later than 20th December 2025 stating the grounds for the representation. The register and the record of the application may be inspected at the Westmorland & Furness Council office at the address given above between 10:00 – 16:00 Monday to Friday or on the council’s website – www.westmorlandandfurness.gov.uk
It is an offence knowingly or recklessly to make a false statement in connection with an application. A person is liable to an unlimited fine on conviction should such a false statement be made.
