Application in respect of the Variation of a Premises Licence

The Prohibition Bar, Unit 7 Basement Floor 73-75 Albert Road, Middlesbrough, TS1 2RU

Notice is hereby given that, The Prohibition Bar Limited, has applied on 27/11/2025, to Middlesbrough Council for the Variation of a Premises Licence in respect of the above-mentioned premises.

The Variation applied for is the substantial change to the layout of the premise as it is now to be used as a late-night bar instead of the previous bowling alley and an additional half hour each evening for drinking up time.

Anyone wishing to make representations in respect of this application should write to Middlesbrough Council at the address stated below or email licensing@middlesbrough. gov.uk

Representations must be made in writing and must be received no later than 25 December 2025.

It is an offence, liable on conviction to a fine up to Level 5 (unlimited amount) on the standard scale, under Section 158 of the Licensing Act 2003 to make a false statement in or in connection with this application.
