What is proposed?

APPLICATION TO VARY A PREMISES LICENCE

Notice is given that HAWTHORN LEISURE LIMITED has applied to Blackburn with Darwen Borough Council to vary a Premises Licence in respect of premises known as Vic, 43-45 Darwen Street, Blackburn, Lancashire, BB2 2BH. The proposed variation has been submitted to request the extension of Opening Hours and Licensable Activities as follows:

  • Opening Hours:
    Sunday - Thursday 08:00 - 01:30
    Friday - Saturday 08:00 - 04:30

  • Sale of alcohol, Performance of Live Music, Playing of Recorded Music, Provision of Facilities for Dance:

    Sunday - Thursday: 08:00 - 01:00
    Friday - Saturday 08:00 - 04:00

This variation will further request the update of permissions for non-standard timings as follows:

New Years Eve - from the end of the permitted hours new years eve to the commencement of permitted hours new years day. Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, Boxing Day, St Georges day, St Patricks day, the Thursday preceding Good Friday and any further declared public bank holiday to allow licensing activities until 04:00.

It is an offence knowingly or recklessly to make a false statement in connection with this application, the maximum fine on summary conviction is unlimited.
