Whiteladies Road - Application To Vary The Premises Licence

What is proposed?

LICENSING ACT 2003

Application has been made by Butcombe Brewery Limited to the Licensing Authority of Bristol City Council to vary the Premises Licence for the Whitmore Tap, 115 Whiteladies Road, Bristol, BS8 2PB. The application includes the following terms:

1. To approve new licensing plans for the first and second floors as further particularised in the application.

2. To extend the terminal hour for licensable activities on Fridays and Saturdays to 01:00 the following mornings with the premises closing to the public 30 minutes thereafter.

3. To amend Annex 3 conditions 5, 6 and 8 to allow use of the outside area until 23:00 as further particularised in the application.

4. To impose a new condition on the licence relating to door staff, use of upper floor levels and points of egress as further particularised in the application.

The record of the application may be viewed at Bristol City Council, 100 Temple Street, Bristol BS1 6AG between 09.00 and 17.00 Monday – Friday except Wednesday when the opening hours are 10.00 to 17.00, or on the Council’s website at www.bristol.gov.uk.

A responsible authority or any other person can make written representations to the Licensing Authority at any time up to and including 17 December 2025 by writing to Licensing Team, PO Box 3300, Bristol, BS1 9LN or via email: licensing@bristol.gov.uk

It is an offence for anyone knowingly or recklessly to make a false statement in connection with a Licence Application. The maximum fine on summary conviction is unlimited.
