What is proposed?

Notice of application for the grant of a Premises Licence under Section 17 of the Licensing Act 2003

Notice is hereby given that Goodliff Drinks Co Limited has applied to London Borough of Richmond upon Thames for the grant of a Premises Licence in respect of Premises to be known as Cantinho, 9 Station Approach, Kew, TW9 3QB.

The proposed licensable activities and their hours are to permit the sale of alcohol for consumption on and off the premises from 0900 to 2330 each day; to permit the provision of late-night refreshment from 2300 to 2330 each day and to permit the opening hours of the premises from 0900 to 2330 each day. The hours for licensable activities applied for are considerably less than those authorised under the previous Premises Licence in force for these premises which lapsed due to the insolvency of the Premises Licence holder.

Any representations regarding the above-mentioned application must be received in writing by Richmond Licensing Authority, Regulatory Services Partnership (Serving Merton, Richmond and Wandsworth Councils) Merton Civic Centre, London Road, Morden, Surrey, SM4 5DX or sent by email to: licensing@merton.gov.uk

no later than 11th December 2025 stating the grounds for representation. The record of this application may be inspected Monday to Friday (except Bank Holidays) by prior appointment at the offices of The Licensing Authority, Regulatory Services Partnership (Serving Merton, Richmond and Wandsworth Councils) Merton Civic Centre, London Road, Morden, Surrey, SM4 5DX between the hours of 10.00am and 4.00pm. Information on all new applications received by the Licensing Authority can be viewed on the Council’s website www.richmond.gov.uk.

It is an offence knowingly or recklessly to make a false statement in connection with an application. A person is liable to an unlimited fine on conviction should such a false statement be made.
