Notice of Application for Transfer of a Licence.

TAKE NOTICE that BB Bars Ltd, Company number NI724589 having its registered offices at 16 Altananam Park, Ballycastle, in the County of Antrim intend at the Magistrates’ Court sitting at Ballymena Courthouse, Albert Place Ballymena BT43 5BS on the 11th day of December 2025 at 10.00am to apply for the transfer to it of a licence held by Glensway Limited of 165 Knockan Road, Rathkenny, Ballymena County Antrim for premises situate at, The Glensway Tavern, 67 Glenravel Road, Martinstown, Ballymena COUNTY ANTRIM BT43 6QQ being premises of the following kind according to the Licensing (Northern Ireland) Order 1996 namely premises specified in Article 5(1)(a) premises in which the business carried on under the licence is the business of selling intoxicating liquor by retail for consumption either in or off the premises.

The said BB Bars Ltd will be the owner of the business carried on under the licence and is the Lessee of the premises.

The owner of the premises is Glensway Limited of 165 Knockan Road, Rathkenny, Ballymena County Antrim

A Protection Order authorising BB Bars Ltd to carry on the business under the licence was granted by the above Court on 28th May 2025 for the period of six months from that date

The licence will be deposited with the Clerk of Petty Sessions on or before the hearing of the application

AND FURTHER TAKE NOTICE that any person owning or residing or carrying on business in premises in the vicinity of the premises for which the licence is sought who intends to object to the grant of a licence must in accordance with paragraph 4 of Schedule 5 to the Order serve Notice of his intention to object upon the Applicant and Chief Clerk not less than one week before the hereinbefore mentioned Magistrates Court sitting on the grounds of either failure to comply with the correct procedure and / or the unfitness of the applicant and / or the business or the ancillary business carried on in the said premises under the licence having been discontinued.
