What is proposed?

Licensing Act 2003 NOTIFICATION OF APPLICATION FOR THE VARIATION OF A PREMISES LICENCE

Notice is hereby given that Shepherd Neame Ltd of 17 Court Street, Faversham, Kent ME13 7AX has applied to Dartford Borough Council on 20th November 2025 to vary the premises licence in respect of The Horse and Groom, 15 Leyton Cross Road, Wilmington, Dartford, DA2 7AP.

The proposed variation is in respect of a new (seasonal) outside bar. Additionally, a change to the hours for alcohol sales (indoors) to 01.00 on Friday and Saturday nights. A record of this application is held by Dartford Borough Council and can be viewed online by visiting www.dartford.gov.uk or by appointment at the offices of Dartford Borough Council, Civic Centre Home Gardens, Dartford, DA1 1DR.

Any person wishing to make a representation in relation to this application must give notice in writing to the licensing authority at the address shown above or by e-mailing licensing@dartford.gov.uk giving in detail the grounds of the objection by Wednesday 17th December 2025.

The licensing authority must receive representations by the date given above. They will give regard to any such representation when considering the application. Under the licensing Act it is an offence to knowingly or recklessly make a false statement in connection with this application, and the maximum fine for which a person is liable on summary conviction is a fine not exceeding £5,000.
