James Street/The Strand - Application for a Premises Licence
What is proposed?
LICENSING ACT 2003
Application has been made by Whitbread Group Plc to the Licensing Authority of Liverpool City Council for a Premises Licence for the Premier Inn (Proposed) at Former Kingston House Site, James Street/The Strand, Liverpool. The application includes the following terms:-
1. To enable the sale of alcohol between 10:00 and 00:30 Mondays to Sundays to non-resident for consumption on and off the premises and 24 hours a day seven days a week for residents.
2. To enable the sale of alcohol for extended hours at Bank Holidays and on other limited days as specified in the application.
3. To enable the provision of Film Monday to Sunday 10:00 to 00:30 when the Premises are open for the sale of alcohol.
4. To enable the provision of late-night refreshment 23:00 to 00:30 Monday to Sunday.

Representation can also be made by post to - Liverpool City Council, Licensing and Public Protection, Cunard Building, Water Street, Liverpool. L3 1AH. Representations must be received no later than 10th December 2025.
It is an offence for anyone knowingly or recklessly to make a false statement in connection with an application. A person is liable to an unlimited fine on conviction should such a false statement be made.
