NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR AN ORDER

Petty Sessions Of Northern Ireland At Belfast

For The North Eastern Administrative Court Division

TAKE NOTICE that we KINGARVE PROPERTIES LIMITED, whose registered office is at 248 Upper Newtownards Road, Belfast, BT4 3EU being the holder of a licence authorising the sale of the intoxicating liquor at the premises situated at 2A Ventry Street, Belfast, BT2 7JP such premises being of a kind of mentioned in Article 44(10) of the Licensing (Northern Ireland) Order 1996, namely premises of a kind mentioned in Article 5(1)(a), intend to apply at the Magistrate’s Court sitting at Laganside Courts, 45 Oxford Street, Belfast, BT1 3LL on 2nd December 2025 at 10.30 am for an order directing that, on the following specified days other than Christmas Day Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays the hours from 11pm in the evening to 1am in the morning shall, in addition to those mentioned in Article 42(1) of the said Order be included in the permitted hours for the part(s) of the premises particularly delineated on the plan attached hereto (or previously deposited with the clerk of petty sessions in relation to any like application) on the ground that the said part(s) of the said premises is/are:-

a) structurally adapted and used or intended to be used for the purpose of habitually providing for the accommodation of persons frequently the premises ie;

i. Musical or other entertainment; or

ii. Substantial refreshment; or

iii. Both musical or other entertainment and refreshment and

b) the sale of intoxicating liquor is ancillary to that entertainment or refreshment.



AND FURTHER TAKE NOTICE that any person owning or residing in premises in the vicinity of the premises to which the application relates who intends to object to the transfer of the Licence must in accordance with paragraph 5 of Schedule 9 to the Licensing Order of 1996 serve notice of his intention to object upon the applicant and the Clerk of Petty Sessions not less than one week before the before the time of the Court sitting specified in this Notice.



AND FURTHER TAKE NOTICE that the permissible grounds of objection are such as are specified in Article 44(1) and (3) of the said Order of 1996.
