What is proposed?
PUBLIC NOTICE OF AN APPLICATION FOR A
PREMISES LICENCE UNDER SECTION 17 OF
THELICENSING ACT 2003
Notice is hereby given that an application was made to
Gosport Borough Council for a premises licence under the
above Act on 10th November 2025 and will commence its
consultation on the 11th November 2025. Applicant: Mithra
Retails Limited. Address of premises: Family Shopper, 15
Rowner Road, Gosport, PO13 9UB. Proposed licensable
activities: Sale of alcohol for consumption off the premises.
Proposed days and hours of licensable activity: Everyday.
Alcohol sales 07.00 to 22.30 hours. The postal address of
the Licensing Authority where the register is kept and the
application may be inspected is: *The Licensing Team,
Gosport Borough Council, Town Hall, High Street,
Gosport, PO12 1EB. Any person wishing to make
representations on this matter shall give notice, in writing,
stating the nature and grounds for making such
representations to The Licensing Officer at the above
address* within 28 days of the date of this notice – by the

It is an offence, under section 158 of the Licensing Act
2003, to knowingly or recklessly make a false statement in
or in connection with an application and the offence is
punishable on summary conviction on or after that day by
a fine of any amount.
