LICENSING (NORTHERN IRELAND) ORDER 1996 (Article 22, Schedule 5, paras. 1 and 2)
NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR THE TRANSFER OF A LICENCE
TAKE NOTICE that we MARYS MOIRA LIMITED having our Registered Office at 1-3 Mandeville Street, Portadown, in the County of Armagh BT62 3PB, intend to apply to Lisburn Magistrates' Court sitting at the Courthouse, Railway Street, Lisburn BT28 1XR on Thursday the 4th day of December 2025 at 10.00 a.m. for the transfer to Marys Moira Limited of a Licence at present held by Carlane Limited having its Registered Office at 9, Upper Crescent, Belfast BT1 1NT for the premises situated at and known as Pretty Marys, 86, Main Street, Moira, in the County of Armagh BT67 0LH being premises of the following kind according to the Licensing (Northern Ireland) Order 1996, namely premises specified in Article:-
5(1)(a) premises in which the only business carried on under the licence is the business of selling
intoxicating liquor by retail for consumption in or off the premises.
A Protection Order authorising Marys Moira Limited to carry on the business under the Licence was granted on the 14th day of August 2025 by the Magistrates' Court sitting at the Courthouse, Railway Street, Lisburn for the period of six months from the date of the Order.
Marys Moira Limited is the owner of the business carried on under the Licence and is also the owner of the premises. Marys Moira Limited is a Limited Liability Company and the following persons are the Directors of the Company - Harriett Margaret Anne Robinson, Claire Elizabeth Ena Robinson and Andrew Robinson all care of 1-3 Mandeville Street, Portadown BT62 3PB
The Licence will be deposited with the Clerk of Petty Sessions before or at the hearing of the Application. FURTHER TAKE NOTICE that any person owning or residing or carrying on business in premises in the vicinity of the premises for which the transfer of the Licence is sought who intends to object to the transfer of the Licence must in accordance with paragraphs 3 and 4 of Schedule 5 to the Order serve Notice of his intention to object upon the Applicant and the Clerk of Petty Sessions not less than one week before the time of the Court sitting at which the application is to be made, briefly stating his grounds of objection as specified in Article 22(6) to the Licensing (Northern Ireland) Order 1996.
