An application for a New Premises Licence has been made by The Open Inn (Micro Bar) Ltd for the premises known as The Open Inn (Micro Bar) Ltd., 96 Standishgate, Wigan, WN1 1XA. The application seeks to: Live music (indoors) Friday – Sunday 17:00 to 23:00. Recorded music (indoors) Monday – Thursday 10:00 to 00:00, Friday 10:00 to 1:30, Saturday 10:00 to 02:30 and Sunday 10:00 to 01:30. The sale of alcohol (on and off the premises) Monday to Thursday 10:00 to 00:00, Friday 10:00 to 01:00, Saturday 10:00 to 02:00 and Sunday 10:00 to 01:00. Hours of opening Monday to Thursday 10:00 to 00:30, Friday 10:00 to 01:30, Saturday 10:00 to 02:30 and Sunday 10:00 to 01:30.
The application may be inspected at the Licensing Section, Wigan Life Centre, College Avenue, Wigan, WN1 1NJ between the hours of 9.00 a.m. And 5.00 p.m. Monday to Friday inclusive. Brief details can also be obtained from the council's website

Any person or responsible authority may make representations about the application no later than 21/11/2025. All representations must be made in writing at the above date. Representations should be sent to the Licensing Section, PO Box 100, Wigan, WN1 3DS or can be emailed to

It is an offence knowingly or recklessly to make a false statement in connection with an application the maximum fine for which a person is liable on summary conviction for making a false statement is a level 5 fine on the standard scale.
