What is proposed?
LICENSING ACT 2003 NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR A PREMISES LICENCE UNDER SECTION 17
Notice is hereby given that on the 30th October 2025 Asda Stores Limited applied to South Staffordshire Council for a Premises Licence in respect of premises Asda Express 19 Cannock Road Featherstone Wolverhampton WV10 7AD. The proposed licensable activities are;- The sale by retail of alcohol on Mondays to Sundays between the hours of 07.00 to 23.00.
Any representations by a responsible authority or any other person regarding this application must be received in writing by;- Licensing Department, South Staffordshire Council, Council Offices, Wolverhampton Road, Codsall WV8 1PX; licensing@sstaffs.gov.uk no later than the 27th November 2025 stating the grounds for representations. Representations must be relevant and can only be on the licensing objectives of the prevention of crime and disorder, public safety, prevention of public nuisance and protection of children from harm. Copies of representations will be sent to the applicant. Persons making representations will have to appear at the Councils’ Licensing SubCommittee.

It is an offence knowingly or recklessly to make a false statement in connection with an application. The fine for which a person is liable on summary conviction for the offence is unlimited.
