What is proposed?

PUBLIC NOTICE

The Ledger, 68-70 Lowther Street, Whitehaven, Cumbria, CA28 7AD.

Notice is given that Apache Incorporated LTD has applied to Copeland Borough Council Licensing Authority for a Premises Licence or Club Premises Certificate under the Licensing Act 2003.

The Licensable activities are, a licensed premises, the supply of alcohol, and playing of recorded and live music.

Anyone who wishes to make representations regarding this application must give notice in writing to: Licensing, Copeland Borough Council, Whitehaven Commercial Park, Moresby Parks, Whitehaven, Cumbria, CA28 8YD or licensing@copeland.gov.uk. Representations must be received no later than (Date 25.11.2025) (within 28 days of the date of this notice). The Application Record and Register may be viewed during normal office hours at the above address.

It is an offence under Section 158 of the Licensing Act 2003, knowingly or recklessly to make a false statement in connection with an application and the maximum fine for which a person is liable on summary conviction for the offence is up to level 5 on the standard scale (£5000).
