What is proposed?

Application has been made by Waitrose Limited to the Licensing Authority of Chelmsford City Council for a Premises Licence for Waitrose, Unit F, Chelmer Village Retail Park, Chelmsford, CM2 6XE. The application is to permit the sale of alcohol for consumption off the premises between 0700 and 2300 each day. Full details of the Application can be viewed at the offices of the Licensing Authority at Chelmsford City Council, Civic Centre, Duke Street, Chelmsford, Essex, CM1 1JE. A responsible authority or any other person can make written representations to the Licensing Authority at any time up to and including 25th November 2025 (www.chelmsfordbc.gov.uk).

It is an offence for anyone knowingly or recklessly to make a false statement in connection with a Licence Application.
The maximum fine on summary conviction is unlimited.
