What is proposed?

LICENSING ACT 2003

A notice is hereby given that Overton Community Association has submitted an application to Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council for a new premises licence under the Licensing Act 2003 for Overton Community Centre, Winchester Street, Overton, Basingstoke, RG25 3HB.

The proposed licensable activities are: Sale of Alcohol, Live Music and Recorded Music on Monday to Thursday 12:00 - 23:00, Friday & Saturdays 12:00 - 00:00 and Sundays 12:00 - 23:00 and Late Night Refreshment everyday 23:00 - 00:00.

Any person wishing to make representations to this application may do so in writing to The Licensing Manager, BDBC, Civic Offices, London Road, Basingstoke, RG21 4AH no later than midnight on 12/11/2025. Representations after this date cannot be considered. All representations must be in writing. A copy of this application can be viewed at the Licensing Authority's address by appointment only.

It is an offence to knowingly or recklessly make a false statement in connection with this application, the maximum fine for which a person is liable on summary of conviction for the offence is £5000.
