PUBLIC NOTICE OF AN APPLICATION FOR A PREMISES LICENCE
UNDER SECTION 17 OF THE LICENSING ACT 2003

Notice is hereby given that an application has been made to the licensing authority of Portsmouth City Council for the grant of a premises licence under the above Act. Applicant: Casa Brasil (Port Solent Holdings) Limited Address of Premises: Casa Brasil Restaurant, 44 – 45 The Boardwalk, Portsmouth PO6 4TP. Proposed licensable activities: Sale of alcohol for consumption on the premises Provision of late-night refreshment Playing of recorded music Proposed days and hours of licensable activity: Alcohol sales – Sunday – Thursday 12:00 – 00:00 and Friday and Saturday 12:00 - 01:00 Provision of late-night refreshment - Sunday – Thursday 23:00 – 00:00 and Friday and Saturday 23:00 – 01:00 Playing of recorded music – Sunday – Thursday 12:00 – 00:00 and Friday and Saturday 12:00 – 01:00 A copy of the statutory register may be inspected during normal office hours at the address shown below or online at www.portsmouth.gov.uk.

Any responsible authority, or any other person wishing to make representations on this matter must submit those representations in writing to the Licensing Manager, Licensing Service, Civic Offices, Guildhall Square Portsmouth PO1 2AL by no later than 19/11/2025. Written representations may also be made by email to: licensing@ portsmouthcc.gov.uk Any relevant representations should include a name and address and will be deemed public documents, will be forwarded to the licence holder and will be considered by the licensing authority. All relevant representations will be available for public inspection and also published on the Council’s website. It is an offence knowingly or recklessly make a false statement with an application and, on summary of conviction for the offence, a person is liable to a fine of any amount.
