What is proposed?

Abigail Cossey, the applicant, has submitted a request to Norwich City Council to allow Billy’s Coffee House to sell alcohol for consumption on the premises and recorded music (background music).

If approved, the licence would permit sales from 10am to 11pm, Monday to Thursday, from 10am to 12am Friday to Saturday and on Sundays 10am to 10pm. It would also permit recorded music (background music) from 7am to 11pm, Monday to Thursday, from 7am to 12am, Friday to Saturday and on Sundays 7am to 10pm.

The public have until the 18th of November to submit representations in writing to the licensing team, Norwich City Council, City Hall, St Peter's Street, Norwich, NR2 1NH.

The full application can be viewed in person at the council offices between 9am and 5pm, Monday to Friday, or online via the council's website.

It is an offence under section 158 of the Licensing Act 2003 to make a false statement in connection with a licensing application, punishable by a fine.
